In 2011, there were only 15 posts to this blog for the
entire year, hardly enough to qualify me as a “blogger” anymore. Last year I
focused on zine projects for The Revenge of Print project, publishing six
issues, including SYNDICATE PRODUCT 20: THE META-COMICS ISSUE, which was funded
through Kickstarter, and turned out amazing. 2011 was also a
very rough year for me personally and professionally, and regular blog posting
was regulated to low priority.
I am unsure if I will begin blogging regularly again in the
near future. However, I don’t want to completely abandon the possibility, so I
will be keeping this domain active. Quiet, but active.
If you’ve stumbled upon this site for the first time, I
encourage you to riffle through the archives. There are many posts that I’m
pleased with, especially the many reviews of comics over the
years. There are also lots of posts about books and generally geeky stuff.
I have two active Twitter feeds: @syndprod for everyday
weirdness, links, and typical Twitterstuff, and the specialized @SPConsumption
for tracking what I’m reading, watching, and listening to.
